The motivation behind putting Oxymoronic! out here in cyber-space is to give a voice to the majority of us who form the backbone of society but paradoxically are marginalised for that very reason. Our votes are taken for granted (the majority of us do vote), we have something to lose if we break the law (so we try not to), we are capitalism's consumers, we do the work, and we are respectful of others. And we are frustrated!

Oxymoronic is The Sound of the Silent Majority

We plan to do this by:

  • Having a strong independent editorial line, expounding new political ideas, and supporting better leadership in those who govern us.

  • Encouraging our visitors to become participants by contributing articles, and suggesting direction.

  • Holding our politicians and leaders to account, letting them know when we are unhappy, letting them know when we approve and when we disapprove.

  • Scrutinising and exposing problems relating to those in positions of responsibility and authority.
